On August 16, the first international stainless steel industry innovation and development conference was held in Ningde, attended by Li Jiancheng, vice governor of Fujian Province.
The conference, with the theme of "promoting high-quality development of international stainless steel industry with innovation as the key link", was sponsored by China Iron and Steel Industry Association, world iron and Steel Association and Ningde Municipal People's government. Ten excellent stainless steel technologies in the world's steel industry were released on the spot, and the national new industrialization industry demonstration base and Fujian stainless steel industry innovation center were unveiled. At the same time, 12 industrial projects with a total investment of 8.03 billion yuan and 5 sales agreements with a total sales of 30.5 billion yuan were signed.
In the discussion forum, famous experts and scholars such as Jiang Tao, academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering, and Zhang Longqiang, President of the Institute of metallurgical industry information and standards, jointly felt the innovation and development of the stainless steel industry, analyzed and discussed the common problems faced by the stainless steel industry through industry policy interpretation, innovative technology exchange, and standard application promotion, which will help the continuous innovation of global stainless steel varieties and processes.
In addition, on the 17th, the participants will visit the national stainless steel new material industry demonstration base in Fu'an Bay dock.
It is reported that Ningde has gathered nearly 100 middle and lower reaches industrial chain projects and established a stainless steel full chain industrial cluster. Next, we will make great efforts to build a national new industrialization industry demonstration base at a high level, focus on the construction of the stainless steel industry smelting center, processing center, innovation R & D center, testing center and trading center, strive to achieve an output value of 300 billion yuan in the whole industrial chain by 2025, strive to build the world's largest stainless steel base, and make contributions to Ningde, a manufacturing power and a manufacturing province.
